Tools: always use glass, stainless, and wood when possible
- measuring cups
- measuring spoons
- sharp knife
- high powered blender
Ingredients: use organic and minimally processed ingredients when possible
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 2 dates
- 1/2 cup packed beet greens with stems
- 1 apple
Optional recipe variations:
- Give your smoothie an extra boost by adding your favorite powders such as mushroom, protein, or collagen.
- Use homemade yogurt, kefir, or other nut milk instead of almond milk.
- Add MCT oil.
- Drop a couple ice cubes into the blender if your fruits aren’t frozen.
How to make a berry and beet greens smoothie:
Step one
Measure all of your ingredients. Add your almond milk to the blender first. Then add all of your other ingredients on top of the almond milk.
Step two
Blend all of your ingredients on medium high power until smooth.
Step three
Pour your berry and beet greens smoothie into your favorite glass, add your favorite reusable straw, and enjoy!!

- 2 whole pitted dates
- 1/2 cup packed beet greens with stems
- 1 whole cored apple

- Measure all of your ingredients. Add your almond milk to the blender first. Then add all of your other ingredients on top of the almond milk.
- Blend all of your ingredients on medium high power until smooth.
